Look Good Feel Good Award
The aim of this Joint ACA/PromoCon Award is to spotlight products, which are pleasing in appearance and satisfactory in performance, and to encourage manufacturers to give attention to the appeal factor at the design stage of new products.
The judging panel comprises representatives from The Bladder and Bowel Foundation, The Continence and Skin Technology Group, Association for Continence Advice and PromoCon
Only products that are exhibited at the ACA Conference, have been launched since the last ACA Conference or which have not been exhibited at an ACA Conference previously are eligible for the award. Judges are asked to consider the following, when selecting or marking products:
The 12th ‘Look Good, Feel Good’ Award (2009) The ACA Conference was recently held at the Royal Court Hotel in Coventry. The event saw the presentation of the 12th annual PromoCon / ACA 'Look Good, Feel Good' (LGFG) Award to Shreddies for their Flatulence Filtering Underwear. The underwear range is constructed with a 100% activated carbon back panel and gusset. These are totally concealed within the underwear thus disguising their function. Any flatulent odours pass through the inner panels into the carbon filter which has a structure to filter the gas, trapping any offensive odours. Judges commented on the innovative design of the product: " fab idea, good quality product, great styling, could save many a marriage !!! Well needed product, fantastic innovation" Runners Up

The StatLock foley is designed to be worn for up to seven days after which it should be replaced with a new one.
This year’s competition was very well supported with all entries being of a very high standard. Thanks go to all companies for their continued support. Karen Foster Winner of the 10th - 2007 'Look Good, Feel Good' Award Winner of the 9th - 2006 'Look Good, Feel Good' Award |
