This new product Hydrant has been designed to enable less-able people to drink independently and maintain their fluid levels. A unique one-piece cap and handle attaches to a bottle with drinking tube and non-return bite valve to the bed. The user then controls the level of intake simply by sucking liquid through the tube as required. The bottles are clearly marked at 100ml intervals thus allowing accurate monitoring of fluid intake, or limit it where necessary, giving 24 hour access to fluids for users. The Hydrant offers a simple way to help improve the health, well being and independence of a section of society that needs help with the basic need for easy access to drinking water at all times.
