These guidelines for good practice have been written to help local authorities, schools, early years settings and health providers develop policies and procedures specific to local circumstances and children's individual needs in relation to bladder and bowel problems and other toileting issues. June Rogers MBE, Director of PromoCon, was commended runner up in the Nursing Standard Nurse 2006 Award (Child Health Category) for her work on the 'Managing Bowel and Bladder Problems in Schools and Early Years Settings'. A project funded by a Section 64 Grant from the Department of Health.
