Childrens and young Persons Urology/Continence Community CYPUCC (previously)
Paediatric Urology/Continence Special Interest Group (PUCSIG)

The group unites nurses working in the field of children’s continence and urology care, it provides a forum to share information and ideas, and enhance their current practice.

Group membership has been drawn from both the acute and the community services with the much needed expansion of children's community continence teams. If you are interested in urology or continence issues in children and would like to join our small but friendly group, let us hear from you!

Details can be obtained from the RCN website at www.rcn.org.uk

Project To Develop A New Incontinence Pant For Women

You may have heard of or even used an incontinence product called a ‘Pantegral’ – this is a washable pant with an absorbent built in pad for women with light urinary leakage. The pantegral is very popular as it looks like a normal pant, but is rather leaky for anything but the smallest urine leaks.

We are a team of scientists and nurses doing a research project to develop a more absorbent pantegral. We are seeking female volunteers over 18 years to help us evaluate the new products by trying them out.

If you currently use absorbent products designed for light urinary leakage and would like to have an informal chat to find out more, please contact Margaret Macaulay, Research Nurse at the:

Continence & Skin Technology Group, University College London, 3rd Floor Clerkenwell Building, Archway Campus, Highgate Hill, London N19 5LW.

Tel: 020 7288 3178 Email:m.macaulay@ucl.ac.uk

Thank you for taking the time to consider this request.
